Port-Royal Record Reissued on Vinyl

Italian Shoegaze maestros Port-Royal have revealed that their excellent second album, "Afraid To Dance", is to benefit from the deluxe vinyl treatment courtesy of Austrian imprint Valeot Records. Originally released in 2007 on CD format through the UK-based Resonant Label, "Afraid To Dance" mark two features new artwork and a slightly different tracklisting.

The vinyl reissue includes an 'exhausted tour version' of the pulsating "Deca-Dance" and a remix of "Roliga Timmen" from Greek experimentalist Dergar, whose work was recently featured on the BBC Radio 6 show "Introducing the Net".

"Port-Royal's music is located at the border of electronica, ambient and postrock, but with "Afraid To Dance" they also make a first step towards - yes! - dance music, and we love that" Says the Valeot press release. "Beautiful melodies, captivating beats and a pleasantly drowning ocean of sound" released in a double vinyl format.

The full tracklist for this release is as follows:

A1 Bahnhof Zoo

A2 Putin Vs Valery

A3 Roliga Timmen

B1 Anya: Sehnsucht

B2 Deca-dance (Exhausted Tour Version)
